I am taking a closer look today at the Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube. This device claims to be the world’s first Roku TV smart projector. I have tested many projectors in the past, and this one stands out as one of the best in its category.

It features a native 1080p resolution and built-in Roku TV functionality. The design focuses on ease of use with autofocus and auto keystone capabilities. You also get dual 5-watt speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a complete entertainment package.

    Design, Form Factor, and Port

The projector sports a nice, sleek aesthetic. It is primarily white with some gray accents near the bottom speaker area. The unit is incredibly small and compact. I compared it to a standard cell phone, and it is only slightly taller and not much longer. Given that it houses a smart operating system, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, the compact size is impressive.

The front of the device features the lens in the center and sensors for the automatic functions. You will find the Aurzen and Roku TV logos displayed here as well. The sides contain speaker grills and Dolby Audio branding. A tripod mount is located on the bottom, along with a built-in leg that provides a 5-degree tilt for positioning adjustments.

You will find all the necessary connections on the back of the unit. These include a power button, a USB port, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and an IR receiver. The power port is located further down. It is a well-rounded selection for such a portable device.

Setup Features and Sealed Optical Engine Benefits

Setting up the Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube is incredibly simple. You place the unit where you want it, and the sensors immediately take over. They automatically focus the lens and correct the keystone to ensure the screen is square. I appreciate not having to mess with manual dials to get a clear picture.

The optical engine is completely sealed. This is a significant advantage over many other projectors. Dust and pet hair often find their way into the optical path of other devices, causing spots on the screen. The sealed design prevents this contamination, ensuring the lens path stays clean regardless of where you store it.

The boot sequence triggers the auto-correction features instantly. As soon as the device powers on, it performs the auto keystone and autofocus procedures. You are left with a sharp, perfectly aligned image in seconds without lifting a finger.

Roku TV Interface and Certified Streaming Apps

The system boots directly into the Roku TV interface. You do not have to deal with the clunky, low-quality menus often found on budget projectors. It provides a genuine Smart TV experience right from the start. The interface is very snappy and responsive when opening apps or navigating menus.

Applications on this device are fully certified. Netflix, for example, plays in full quality, which is not always the case with other projectors. You have access to Hulu, Prime Video, YouTube, Plex, HBO Max, and Spotify. The selection is vast, and you can access even more through the streaming store.

I found the menu system to be intuitive and fully integrated. All settings, including projector adjustments, picture modes, and audio inputs, are accessible directly through the Roku interface. There is also a Live TV section with various channels and a sports section, providing plenty of content options.

Remote Control and Mobile App Connectivity

The included remote is a standard Roku TV model. It is very easy to understand and use, making it accessible for people of all ages. The layout includes general controls at the top and dedicated shortcut buttons for Netflix, Disney Plus, Apple TV, and Prime Video. It also has volume controls specifically for the projector.

You can also use the Roku mobile app to control the device. This feature allows you to browse content on your phone and cast it directly to the projector. I found this to be a very cool feature that adds a layer of convenience not found on many other models.

The app serves as a backup remote as well. You can control the entire projector from your smartphone if you misplace the physical remote or do not want to get up. The device also supports mirroring from both Android and Apple devices for sharing content from your phone.

Picture Quality, Brightness, and Audio Performance

I am very happy with the image quality this projector produces. The picture is nice and bright, and the colors are punchy. It performs much better than I expected given its price point. The image remains sharp, and the color accuracy is solid with a good amount of contrast.

Darker environments definitely yield the best results. You will lose some contrast if you turn the lights on, but the image remains usable. The native 1080p resolution ensures that the visuals are crisp and detailed.

The audio performance is strong for a projector of this size. It uses stereo speakers with a total output of 10 watts. I found the volume sufficient to enjoy movies and games without needing external equipment. You can easily connect a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar if you prefer a louder audio experience.

Final Thoughts — Price & Value

The Aurzen Eazze D1R Cube is available at a very affordable price, typically found on marketplaces like AliExpress. The cost is exceptionally low considering the feature set it offers.

I believe this projector offers tremendous value. You get a fully certified Roku TV experience, a sealed optical engine, and automated setup features that usually cost much more. The picture quality exceeds expectations for this budget category.

I highly recommend this unit to anyone shopping for a compact and easy-to-use projector. It delivers a great image and a seamless user experience without breaking the bank.
