If you’re searching for a smartphone that can handle just about anything life throws at it, all while staying easy on your wallet, the Ulefone Armor X32 Pro might just be the answer to your prayers. This rugged powerhouse isn’t your average phone—it’s built tough, packed with features, and surprisingly affordable at just $299.99 on AliExpress. Yeah, you heard that right. For less than 300 bucks, you’re getting a device designed to survive drops, dust, water, and even those “oops” moments when your phone takes a tumble into a puddle or two.
What makes the Armor X32 Pro stand out isn’t just its durability, though that’s definitely a big part of the package. It’s also loaded with tech that feels like it should cost way more—like a sharp 64MP camera, an infrared night vision mode for low-light adventures, and 5G connectivity. Oh, and let’s not forget the massive 5,500mAh battery that’ll keep you going for days without needing a charge.
Honestly, it’s kind of hard to believe they managed to pack all this goodness into one device—and still keep the price tag under $300.
What do you get?
Starting with its build, the Ulefone Armor X32 Pro screams durability. The phone is wrapped in a shock-absorbing TPU layer and reinforced with durable polycarbonate. It’s got this non-slip texture all over that not only feels good in your hand but also helps keep it from sliding off surfaces.
The octagonal camera module on the back adds a touch of style, blending functionality with aesthetics in a way that doesn’t feel clunky or overdone. It’s smaller than most rugged phones out there, which makes it easier to carry around without feeling like you’ve got a brick in your pocket. Plus, the raised edges around the screen mean the display is less likely to get scratched if you drop it face-down.
Durability is where the Armor X32 Pro truly excels. It meets IP68 and IP69K standards, meaning it’s both waterproof and dustproof. It’s also MIL-STD-810H certified, so it can survive drops from up to two meters. These certifications make it ideal for harsh environments. Adding to its toughness is the optional multifunctional protective case, sold separately but highly recommended for extreme conditions. This case comes with anti-shock corners, precise cutouts for ports and buttons, and a rotatable clip for attaching it to belts or backpacks.
Talking about the screen, it’s a 5.65-inch display with HD resolution (720×1440 pixels) and an 18:9 aspect ratio. While it’s not going to blow anyone away with crazy sharpness, it does the job well for everyday tasks like browsing, watching videos, or checking social media. The refresh rate is over 90Hz, making everything feel smooth when scrolling or gaming. Outdoor visibility is decent too, thanks to a max brightness of 600 nits. And if you’re working outside in cold weather, the glove mode ensures you can use the touchscreen even with gloves on. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display from scratches and impacts, which is pretty standard for rugged phones but still a nice touch.
One of the standout features of the Armor X32 Pro is its triple-camera setup. The main shooter is a 64MP lens powered by Sony’s IMX682 sensor, complete with an f/1.9 aperture for better low-light performance. It takes crisp photos in a variety of lighting conditions, though don’t expect DSLR-level results. Below that is the 25MP night vision camera, equipped with infrared lights for shooting in pitch-black environments. This feature alone sets it apart from many other phones in its class, especially for outdoor enthusiasts or anyone who needs reliable imaging in dark settings.
There’s also a 2MP macro camera for close-up shots, though it’s more of a bonus than a must-have. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera handles video calls and casual snapshots nicely. Video recording goes up to 2K at 30fps, and while there’s no optical stabilization, electronic stabilization keeps things steady enough for most users.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset powers the phone. It’s not top-of-the-line, but it gets the job done for everyday tasks like web browsing, streaming, and multitasking. With 8GB of RAM (expandable to 16GB via intelligent allocation), the phone feels snappy even when running multiple apps at once. Storage is generous at 256GB, and it uses UFS 2.2 technology for faster read and write speeds. Gamers might find it capable of handling titles like PUBG Mobile or Asphalt 9 on medium settings, though it’s definitely not marketed as a gaming phone. Still, the Mali G57 MC2 GPU provides solid performance for casual gamers.
Connectivity options are robust, including 5G support, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC for contactless payments, and an IR blaster for controlling smart home devices. The headphone jack is a triple 3.5mm port, which is a quirky but useful addition. It works great for listening to music or using the FM radio functionality, which doesn’t require headphones since it has its own antenna. Speaking of practical extras, the customizable programmable button on the side is a handy feature. You can set it to open specific apps or trigger functions with a single click, double click, or long press.
Software-wise, the Armor X32 Pro runs Android 14 right out of the box. Ulefone keeps things clean and bloat-free, focusing on optimization and usability. Advanced privacy settings, regular security updates, and OTA upgrades ensure the phone stays secure and up-to-date. Multitasking is smooth thanks to split-screen and floating window support, and the system’s energy-saving algorithms help extend battery life.
Battery life is another area where the Ulefone Armor X32 Pro shines. Its 5,500mAh cell easily lasts two to three days with moderate use. Charging happens at 18W, which isn’t the fastest, but it’s reasonable given the price point. A full charge takes about two hours, and there’s even 5W reverse charging if you need to juice up another device in a pinch.
