Design And Build Quality

Charging Case

Overall, Lenovo adopts a simple and elegant design that is heavily inspired by the AirPods 2 design. As for the charging case, it features a design in the shape of a rectangular oval, rounded at the corners, very compact, small, and lightweight only 25g, made of glossy white or black plastic with the brand logo of Lenovo is embossed in grey on the front of the charger case.

There is also a long slot in the center of the front to open the case, which is surrounded by a built-in magnet for easy opening and closing with one hand, And unfortunately, the quality is poor. Once opened, there is a place for the earbuds with an automatic charging start. As for the back, has a physical button with a green LED to reenter the pairing state or restore factory settings.

The bottom of the charging case is flat so you can put it standing. The most important thing is the presence of the Type-C charging port, which would have been better if it had been placed elsewhere, especially on non-wireless charging cases.

Lenovo LP2 Earbuds

We are now moving on to the elegant, LP2 wireless earphone has a semi-in ear format with a small design, short stem, and glossy white color, and most importantly, the shape is light about 3g only to be comfortable on the ear and with stability during movement. the strange thing is these ear tips are not made of soft silicone, they are made of a single material similar to AirPods 2.

On the bottom of the leg there the magnetic charging contacts and in the same leg there is a touch control sensor, while on top there is a microphone pickup hole with good and clear sound reception during a call with the help of the noise reduction hole on the outside of the earphone, which cooperates with the microphone to accurately distinguish between human voice and noise.

Touch Control Panel

To control the Lenovo LP2, there is a high-precision touch control panel on the lag of the earphone which can achieve precise control with highly responsive touch sensitivity. The control consists of answering/rejecting a call, playing/pausing music, even Voice Assistant.

Lenovo LP2 Waterproof

The Lenovo LP2 has IPX4 WaterProof, so they are protected from rain, sweat, and dust which helps you use the earbuds effectively in any sporting environment. However, it should not be completely submerged in water to avoid any possible damage and to stay with you in the long term.

How Pairing Lenovo LP2

Lenovo LP2 offers strong compatibility with both IOS and Android devices and adopts Bluetooth 5.0 technology for stable and powerful transmission, lower delay, and smoother connection for high sound quality. And you can enjoy music up to 10m long even with thin walls between you and your device. However, pairing in LP2 is the same as any wireless earbuds, all you have to do is open the charging case and take them out and they will automatically turn on and enter the pairing state.

Immediately after that, open the Bluetooth interface of the smartphone, the device name “Lenovo LP2” will be automatically recognized, click it, and the pairing is completed successfully. The pairing is done manually once, after that it is automatic and fast provided Bluetooth is enabled, just remove it from the box and use it.

Lenovo LP2 Audio Quality

The Lenovo LP2 has a great stereo effect, with high volume, perfect bass, and has well-defined tones, to deliver perfect full-range performance with a better sound stage, thanks to the driver with a dynamic unit and high woofer to deliver smooth, natural sounds of pop, rock, and other strong rhythms. The armature driver delivers powerful, more accurate bass to provide more detail and excels in soothing genres such as acoustic and classical. It also supports AAC/SBC high-definition audio decoding, the most popular.

Call Quality

For calls, Lenovo LP2 is budget earbuds that adopt Noise Reduction technology. The internal and external bidirectional microphone respectively pick up the internal and external ambient noise of the ear in order to generate a reverse sound wave to cancel out the noise. This creates a new depth noise reduction with good volume and little hiss, but a little muffled. It’s not a perfect microphone, but it’s quite audible for games and calls. Overall, it works well enough for earphones of this size and price.

Delay In Earphone

The Lenovo LP2 features low latency technology of just 65ms, so you can watch videos or play online games on both iPhone and Android without noticeable audio delay, even in YouTube or Netflix app which is always a challenge. However, it did well.
Unfortunately, there is a slight delay in audio when playing games, which is almost normal, and you can find it on most wireless headphones in this price range.

Lenovo LP2 Battery And Charging Time

In terms of battery, the Lenovo LP2 charging case is equipped with a built-in 300mAh Li-Polymer battery, and it provides the user with an additional 5 hours of uninterrupted playback at a time when the earbuds are fully charged, and the battery life can reach around 20 hours with the charging case, which is great.

When you put the earphone into the charging case, the earphone will automatically enter into the charging state. The storage box itself can be recharged for 2h via Type-C.

Conclusion

Overall, for those on a tight low budget, the Lenovo LP2 TWS Earbuds are a great true wireless option that offers a lot for the money where the good sound and elegant design, this is to satisfy lovers of sound quality. They are cheap earbuds, but at the same time, they provide you with everything you need in any wireless headphones.
