Design And Build Quality
The design of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is easily one of the most polarizing aspects of the smartphone. Both the back and front of the phone are made of glass with an aluminum frame. The back panel has a frosted finish and is available in two color options, Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. On the front, it has a punch hole in the upper left corner for selfies, and the edges are slightly curved.
The alert slider and power button are located in the right spine. The volume rocker on the right spine.
One of the most striking features of the design is the metallic camera block on the back end that merges with the frame and has a different color than the rest of the back. The rectangular unit works to house the triple camera lenses, the LED flash, and the OnePlus logo. The side frame has antenna lines. There is a SIM tray section, USB Type C port, and speaker grille at the bottom. The upper edge is dead. With a weight of 200.5g and dimensions of 163 x 73.9 x 8.6 mm, the 10 Pro seems to be well balanced.
The fingerprint is located at the bottom of the screen and the phone can be unlocked through facial recognition.
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G – Display Quality
OnePlus 10 Pro is the first device from the manufacturer to get a Fluid AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels (Quad HD). This means that it offers dynamic refresh rates from 1 Hz to 120 Hz to suit the content displayed on the screen with the idea that it always uses the best refresh rate for your content. The 6.7-inch panel can reach a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a pixel density of 525ppi for better quality and seems to be more than enough for outdoor brightness and is very sharp and a pleasure to use. And of course, the screen supports the Always-on display feature.
There is also a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass from the Victus Edition that will help keep the screen from scratches.
OnePlus 10 Pro – Cameras
Moving on to the optics, one of the most important features of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is its camera capabilities. was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. It has triple cameras on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 1.8 lens slot, which is a wide lens, and the other 50-megapixel lens with an f / 2.2 lens slot, which is a lens for isolating the background and taking portraits, and the last lens for zoom and focus is 8 megapixels with an f / 2.2 lens slot. 2.4, OIS and 3.3x optical zoom.
In addition to the AF sensor, and support for imaging improvement technology from Hasselblad that supports zoom up to 30 times, and supports shooting 4K video at 120 frames per second, with a distinctive front camera with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor and an f / 2.2 lens slot for selfies and video chats, so it is able to 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second.
If we look closely all three rear cameras are capable of shooting in 10-bit color which basically means that they can capture a larger color gamut than most smartphone cameras. As a result, the device processes 64 times more colors than smartphones that capture 8-bit colors. Furthermore, the 10 Pro takes photos using the DCI-P3 color gamut, which provides 25% more coverage than the sRGB color gamut used in other smartphones. In addition to improving color tuning in more than 500 scenarios such as food, portraits, graffiti, and flower images were highlighted as other areas of improvement.
The OnePlus 10 Pro also includes some new and improved shooting modes including the new Fisheye mode with ultra-wide lens and the new Master Style which lets you choose from three different color modes (Serenity, Radiance, or Emerald) calibrated by professional photographers.
The Hasselblad Pro mode on the 10 Pro 5Gsupports 12-bit RAW capture on all three rear cameras, complete with Hasselblad’s mobile natural color solution. Additionally, this model supports a new, powerful RAW mode called RAW+ that allows you to capture 12-bit RAW images while retaining computational imaging in the OnePlus 10 Pro to deliver higher-quality image files with more information, improved dynamic range, and improved noise reduction.
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G Performance
Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core (4nm) chipset clocked at 1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510. With Adreno 730 GPU.
With 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, expandable (up to 3 GB) by taking advantage of the free space on the phone. This is because it is connected to the internal storage of UFS 3.1 with a capacity of 256 GB and the phone does not support the addition of an external storage card, however, in terms of games, whatever you throw at it, you will navigate through it.
The 10 Pro 5G is also equipped with 5-layer 3D passive cooling which is the most advanced cooling system ever in a OnePlus phone and helps increase the performance of its processor.
HyperBoost Game Engine
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G supports the HyperBoost game engine that powers a series of new gaming features designed to deliver a more stable and responsive gaming experience. This includes the General Performance Adapter (GPA) and O-Sync framework installer.
The GPA Frame Stabilizer aims to reduce frame rate fluctuation when gaming on the OnePlus 10 Pro and works to ensure that if a drop in frame rate occurs, they do so gradually rather than quickly and dramatically.
O-Sync speeds up the sync between the 10 Pro’s processor and display by up to six times while gaming. This reduces touch response times by up to 30 milliseconds, which means that the device reacts faster to every touch and swipe.
OxygenOS 12 – Software
OnePlus 10 Pro comes pre-installed with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1, with a burden-free design and new features centered around work, convenience, and play. Just like all other OnePlus flagship devices, the 10 Pro 5G will receive 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
Connectivity features include dual SIM support for 5G and 4G LTE networks. In addition to Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. It will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res sound.
OnePlus 10 Pro Battery And Charging
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Therefore, the device is expected to last with you for more than a day. And with light to moderate use, you can push it to get up to two days of battery life.
With support for the fastest wired charging speeds ever, the phone gets reverse charging support and 50W wireless charging is incredibly fast too, with the 50W AIRVOOC taking the 10 Pro from 1-100% in 47 minutes. The most important is the 80W fast charging, this charging capacity can provide a full charge from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. This may not be the fastest charging speed but it is very good. It supports a feature called Smart Charge Protection that is designed to preserve battery health.
The bad news is that the US version will be limited to 65W charging. As reported by GSM Arena, this is because “80W SUPERVOOC does not currently support 110 or 120V AC power – the typical standard for power outlets in the region.” The good news is that 65W charging is still pretty fast, and should outperform the 45W charging offered by the Galaxy S22 Ultra for example.
The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G offers some of the strongest specifications currently available in smartphones, from strong external materials with a different design shape, through a powerful screen from Samsung with many advanced technologies and providing an integrated experience, down to the most powerful processor at the moment from Qualcomm, which works with the lowest accuracy Efficient manufacturing.
In addition to the cameras that look like numbers and more than excellent functions, whether front or rear, the phone also offers a large battery that supports fast charging and fast wireless charging. The smartphone is very integrated and is considered one of the most powerful flagship phones that have been introduced in the past period, and it is not a difficult option to recommend.
A smartphone with such features and the price range is one of the best in the market as Flagship Killer. OnePlus has always focused on providing the best in its products with the latest technology.
